Someone asked

Why do you believe in Christianity?

Why do you believe the positives of it outweigh the negatives? Why do you believe in the existence of a god? Why do you believe the Bible is to be trusted and followed word for word?

Everyone chooses what they believe in their heart. For me, I see design, order, laws, beauty, not chance. That solves that one. The Bible says "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth". So that is my logic on God.

Why Jesus? not others? Because Jesus rose to live, was seen by over 500. We didn't have camera, and cameras don't lie, but we have written documents and honestly, if we can't trust it, when how on earth would anyone believe Abraham Lincoln or others exists in history. Plus, we have archeology and if you are sincerely looking, and are broken and give up pride and self-righteousness, as we all have in our human nature, you will meet the God of love, who loves you and died for you when Jesus died on the cross for your sin, because He laid his life down for you.

Some wait for miracles but honestly, seeing a "magic show" doesn't convince people, we have all the proof we need, but if you don't claim it or see it as proof (like the world around you and the times we live in) then nothing we say can convince you. My two cents.

Lastly, the reason that I am not dead, the reason why I'm not a sex addict anymore and the reason I still breathe, has to be God, because I was dying and heading to hell fast.
